Common questions
Do I need to know how to code?
No. OpenClaw is configured through text files — no programming required. If you can send a text message and follow written instructions, you can do this.
What if my Pi breaks after the workshop?
The Pi 4 is a rugged, fanless device with no moving parts — it rarely breaks. If it does, we can help you get a replacement and restore your setup from the SD card backup.
How much does the AI cost to run after the workshop?
Typical monthly API costs are $5–20 depending on how many conversations your assistant handles. The Pi itself uses about $1/month in electricity.
Can I add WhatsApp or phone calls later?
Yes. OpenClaw supports Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, Slack, Signal, and more. We start with Telegram in the workshop because it's the simplest to set up, but you can add channels later.
What if I need help after the workshop?
The Workshop + Support package includes a 2-hour follow-up session. You can also reach us by email for quick questions. For deeper needs, we offer hourly consulting and monthly support plans.
